Many people don’t realize that when Illinois Valley Millwright — now On Site Repair Services — was founded back in 1973, our very first offering was field welding. Over 50 years later, welding remains a core part of who we are.
All of our field service technicians are AWS (American Welding Society) certified in all positions, techniques, and a wide range of materials. This goes beyond basic maintenance — our skilled welders regularly work with challenging materials like copper and aluminum, often in demanding environments. Because welding is part of our daily work, our journeymen continuously refine their skills, supported by ongoing education and training at our in-house custom training facility. Welding is where we started, and it continues to be a major part of our success.
