In-House Accredited American Welding Society Training Facility

Learn from our AWS Certified Welding Instructor, Wayne, on the most recent techniques. All OSR welders are certified in all positions and techniques on most materials.

We are focused on helping Illinois rebuild the skilled labor force.  Upon completion of the millwright apprenticeship, a maintenance technician is capable of disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of production equipment. The technician will possess strong knowledge and skills in the areas of blueprint reading/sketching, rigging, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, seals, and precision alignment. The technician will have a strong math background with some exposure to metallurgy, mechanical power transmission, pumps, compressors, hydraulic actuators and cylinders. Other skills include operation of forklifts, cranes, heavy-duty trucks trailers, and flatbeds as they relate to machinery moving and installation. Expertise knowledge in pipefitting, machine and fabrication shop practices as well as working knowledge of electronics.

Forklift/Man Lift/Scissors Certifications
